Imagine being able to take an exam in the comfort of your own home. Sounds too good to be true, but this is exactly what is now on offer from Trade Skills 4U. In our rapidly changing world new technology is constantly evolving and helping us continue to deliver our training and exams. With the rise of Virtual training and eLearning C&G have developed a new solution that allows remote invigilation of exams.

So if you are currently training with us  and want to book a remote exam please call 0800 856 4448 and select Option 2 and then option 1 for Gatwick. The team will then book your exam for you.

How does it all work?

  • We will send you a link that allows you to test your laptop or PC to make sure you can run the exam
  • If this is successful we will book you onto a time slot starting at 8/8.30am, 11.30am/12pm or 4/4.30pm. Once we have registered you C&G will confirm the exact start time by email.
  • C&G will also send you a link to download the software that needs to be installed on your PC. This will mean you will need admin rights to install the software so make sure you don’t leave it until the last minute.
  • When you exam session begins you will be able to see an invigilator on your screen. They will check your ID, ask you to show them your book and the room you are in and be there to monitor you throughout the exam
  • You can then take the exam from the comfort of your own home as if you were in centre. The experience will be almost identical but with no need to travel.
  • At the end of the exam you will be emailed your test result by C&G
