Emergency Lighting Course

This is a 2-day Emergency Lighting course that covers the design, installation, commissioning, testing, and certification of emergency lighting systems as well as legislative and standards requirements; this includes the ongoing operation of the systems.

COURSE OVERVIEW

What Will I Learn On This Course?

This short course is for those with electrical installation experience. Ideally, you will already have knowledge of the current regulations.

EXISTING ELECTRICIAN, DOMESTIC INSTALLERS

This short course is designed to give you the ability and skills to design and install an emergency lighting system. Your knowledge of the current regulations will be expanded to include the testing and commissioning of the installation itself.

Course Content

This course is currently delivered via a virtual classroom. You will attend a live session for 2 days delivered by one of our experienced tutors. You will be able to interact and participate in the lesson in the same was as a in-centre course. You will be able to ask questions and speak to other students and tutors.

The course covers the legal requirements as well as the requirements of BS 5266-1, BS 5266-7 & BS5266-8.

Assessment & Books

Assessment

You will be assessed at the end of the course by way of a practical design exercise. Upon successful completion, you will be awarded a TS4U certificate of achievement.
