The course is delivered entirely online and provides a structured, in‑depth understanding of the Wiring Regulations, covering all parts of BS 7671. It is suitable for electricians, engineers, and other professionals who need to achieve or update their formal Wiring Regulations qualification.
Learners complete a series of guided eLearning modules before sitting the City & Guilds 2382‑26 examination, which can be taken online via remote proctoring or in one of our training centres.
Candidates will receive access to our online learning portal (Moodle), where the full eLearning programme is hosted.

The City & Guilds 2382-26 Wiring Regulations examination is not automatically booked as part of the course. Candidates can choose when and how to sit the exam once they feel ready.
You will complete a 2‑hour online multiple‑choice examination. The assessment is the City & Guilds 2382‑26 exam, aligned to Amendment 4 of the 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
The exam is open book, and you must bring a copy of the current BS 7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations into the assessment. With an average of around 2 minutes per question, a thorough working knowledge of the regulations and the ability to quickly navigate the book is essential.

Remote exams run from Monday to Friday only with three start times available: 8:00am, 11:30am and 4:00pm.
Please note: candidates have 30 min to go through all the checks with their ID/environment, books checks, therefore the exam can start within 30 min from the time given. If the checks are not conducted within 30 min the invigilator might terminate the exam.
