Room requirements

Before the assessment you will need to demonstrate you meet the minimum room requirements as follows:

  • The room you are in is walled (glass walls need to be opaque)
  • If you are situated on the ground floor of your building windows will need to be covered (curtains/blinds closed)
  • The room should be quiet
  • You need to be alone in the room (this includes no pets or children as they can be a distraction during your test)

  • A single-screen display. All other TVs/monitors etc. should be removed from the room or disconnected and 2m away from you.
  • You have your charger plugged in (if using a laptop)
  • Up-to-date Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge Browser.
