This 2-day short course is aimed at anyone involved in the construction, commissioning, inspection & testing, or maintenance of central heating electrical control systems.
The course covers all the commonly used control systems in use today and is focused on the ‘practical’ construction and commissioning along with the relevant fault-finding techniques.

OTHER TRADES, EXISTING ELECTRICIANSThere are no formal entry requirements for this course, however, it is intended for those already working in the electrical installation field. You should know how to carry out a house re-wire and have a good grasp of the wiring regulations.
The course requires an understanding of electrical principles and cable termination skills.
Each student will work on their own system and will have plenty of time to absorb and understand how each system works. You will gain an understanding of how and why central heating systems work and advice will be given on suitable ‘tooling’ and test equipment.
Theory sessions will introduce the conventional wiring systems, ‘Y’ Plan, ‘S’ Plan, Etc. These will be reinforced with practical sessions allowing you to actually create the aforementioned plans.

This is the most common method of payment, we understand that some of the courses can be difficult to pay all at once. Therefore at Trade Skills 4U we allow you on our longer courses to pay as you train, this means you pay week by week interest free.
Pay As You Train is only available on our longer courses covering a number of weeks. Typically we will agree a payment plan with you where by you will pay your deposit and then pay a set amount 21 Days before each class start date.

Our Northern training facility is situated just off Junction 10 of the M62 at Birchwood Park and is very accessible from towns such as Warrington, Manchester, Liverpool and Chester.
Phoenix House has raised the bar for electrical training centres in the UK. It’s situated east of Leeds, just off of the M1 / A1. This makes it easily accessible from Leeds, Sheffield, Hull, York, Harrogate and all over Yorkshire.
Our centre in Central London is based right next to the old bailey, Smithfield Market and St Barts Hospital. We currently only offer electrical courses for experienced electricians from Central London.
Our Doncaster training centre features bright and airy, multi-purpose training rooms aimed at delivering state-of-the-art electrical training across South Yorkshire.
