C&G 2382-22 Online 18th Edition Course
This 18th Edition course is the equivalent of our 3 day 18th Edition course delivered in centre. The difference is you will study at home until you feel ready to take on the exam and then simply give us a call on 01293 529777 to book. We also offer an online update course too.
Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. As a general rule candidates should have knowledge of electrical installation and electrical science.
The course is primarily aimed at practicing electricians and domestic installers, however it is also very popular with allied professionals such as contracts managers, designers, electrical engineers, consultants, surveyors, and other related trades needing to update and enhance their understanding of the IEE Wiring Regulations. All candidates must be over 18 years old.
Course Content
The courses below cover key aspects of the 18th Edition wiring regulations to enable you to be able to reference your regulations books as you would in real life when faced with a variety of situations. They both include online learning modules coupled with practice exams at the end to prepare you for the real exam which is taken in one of our centres.
What are the key changes in the 18th Edition?
As stated above the course is not designed to cover every regulation in the book. It will teach you how to best reference your book in relation to situations you will face in your working life.
When you book we will send instructions to your email address within 24 hours (except at weekends) so you can start your online 18th Edition training.
IMPORTANT: The price of these courses includes the online learning, the exam and all course fees including VAT. You can only take your 18th Edition exam at one of our centres if you book your 18th Edition course via Trade Skills 4U.
Once you complete your online course please contact us on 01293 529777 to book your in-centre exam.
You can take your 18th Edition Regulations book (BS 7671) into the exam with you and refer to it if need be. The timing of the exam means that you will have on average 2 minutes per question so a good overall knowledge of the 18th Edition regs plus a thorough understanding of the book is a must.
Please note that you must bring a photographic ID such as a passport or driving license with you in order to sit the assessment on this course.
